On behalf of our Client, we are recruiting for a Principal Mechanical Engineer. Within the Engineering team, the Lead Mechanical Engineer will integrate operational engineering multi-discipline teams delivering projects at various phases, from FEED to commissioning, or in assistance to Plant Operation in the UK.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensuring appropriate and adequate design standards and practices are deployed and deliverables and solutions generated are safe, legal and adequately underpinned.
- Ensuring that appropriate design review activities are performed in a timely manner.
- Ensuring subject matter experts are appropriately and adequately engaged in a timely manner and LFE captured, disseminated and utilised.
- Managing technical studies related to mechanical handling for both handling operations and heavy mechanical.
