The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
The EC&I design engineer will be responsible for supporting other engineers in delivering design projects or leading small EC&I project tasks with the support of other engineers. This will include the full project life cycle from concept design through to manufacture and commissioning.
Tasks could include:
- Delivering design project deliverables.
- Producing the required EC&I design documents and drawings to the standards, procedures and requirements set out by the project under supervision.
- Responsibility for the coordination, planning and delivery of designs in accordance with the required standards, procedures and requirements set out by the project.
Requirements:
- Ability to confidently liaise with external stakeholders and team members.
- Ability to independently seek out or develop own answers to challenging technical questions.
- Ability to organise own time and the time of others to ensure internal/external deadlines are achieved and Client expectations are exceeded.
- Minimum qualification for this role is an HNC or equivalent qualification in electrical or control engineering or similar engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years professional engineering/technical specialist experience.
- Experienced in interfacing with other technical disciplines is desirable.
- Previous experience in a Nuclear Site or other highly regulated site.
- AMTECH ProDesign or similar cable calculation software.
- AutoCad design.
- Hold a minimum of ‘SC’ UK Security Clearance, or willing to obtain.
