Our client is a family run business based in East end of Glasgow. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Administrator. This is a permanent role, working part time hours, 22.5 hours per week. Our client is flexible on the start and finish time, however would ideally prefer the cover on a Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. However, shorter hours, spread over more days is also an option and can be discussed.
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the sales department by managing administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations, and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires strong organisational skills, proficiency in various software applications, including MS Word and Excel.
Duties
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including managing schedules and coordinating meetings.
- Maintain accurate records of sales transactions and customer interactions using software such as Sage.
- Assist in the preparation of sales reports and presentations using Excel and Word.
- Handle customer inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Process orders and manage inventory levels to ensure timely fulfilment.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the sales administration function.
- Continuously update and maintain customer databases, ensuring all information is current and accurate.
- Follow up on quotes from potential customers.
Qualifications
