Our client has a number of prestigious Distilleries based in Keith. An exciting opportunity has arisen for two seasonal Tour guides. As a Tour guide, you will be able to create memorable and enjoyable experiences that guests will remember and share with friends, creating lifelong and committed consumers to our clients' brands.
The role of a Tour guide includes conducting distillery tours, tastings, and providing guidance in the shop.
Main Responsibilities:
- To welcome and always provide an interesting informative visit to the distillery and ensure the Health & Safety of our guests.
- To act as an ambassador for the company presenting the brands in a positive manner and contributing to brand promotion.
- To assist as required in the preparation and service of drinks, snacks, as well as to clear up and re-set corporate hospitality areas.
- Clean and maintain displays and cabinets.
- To serve visitors in the shop, adhering to stock and cash handling procedures at all times.
- To re-stock the shop as appropriate.
- Housekeeping of internal and external areas.
- To attend evening functions as required.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Good quality interpersonal skills.
- Smart in appearance.
- Good working knowledge of distillery operations (not required but advantageous - full training will be delivered).
- Know and understand Company Health & Safety policies (full training will be delivered).
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures.
- Ability to work unsociable hours, including weekends. PLEASE NOTE YOU WILL WORK ALL WEEKEND 3 OUT OF 4 WEEKENDS IN A MONTH.
- Full driving licence (preferred due to remote location).
This role is for 4 months, with an immediate start. The hourly rate is £13.50 per hour. Accommodation is not included.
Job Types: 24-30 hours per week, maybe more.
