\\nï‚· Embracing Digital Innovation. \\nï‚· Company Accountability. \\n\\nRole Overview \\nWe are seeking a skilled and motivated EICA Engineer to join our growing team, delivering projects predominantly within the water, utilities, and infrastructure sectors.

\\n\\nIn this role, you will be responsible for designing, specifying, and supporting electrical systems across treatment plants,pumping stations, control systems, and related infrastructure. \\n\\nYou will ensure safe and reliable power distribution, protection, monitoring, and instrumentation across assets-from concept through to handover and operation. \\n\\nCollaboration is key: you will work closely with civil, mechanical, process, and control & instrumentation teams, as well as with construction, operations, and external stakeholders.

\\n\\nKey Responsibilities \\n Develop electrical design deliverables: single-line diagrams, cable sizing, distribution layouts, protection and coordination studies, earthing/grounding, and lighting/small power design \\n\\n Specify electrical equipment: switchgear, transformers, UPS, motors & drives, MV/LV panels, MCCs, control \\npanels, and distribution boards \\n Design control & instrumentation interfaces: PLCs, SCADA, field instrumentation, and power supplies \\n Perform electrical load calculations, short-circuit analysis, fault-level and coordination studies \\n Carry out protection and relay coordination studies \\n Prepare and review technical specifications, procurement documentation, and vendor evaluations \\n Liaise with electrical utility providers and manage interface responsibilities \\n Support commissioning, testing, handover, and site supervision activities \\n Troubleshoot and resolve electrical/control system issues during construction, start-up, and operations \\n Ensure compliance with relevant standards, health & safety legislation, and regulatory requirements \\n Contribute to cost estimation, risk assessments, and change control processes \\n Provide technical support for operation and maintenance, including diagnostics, upgrades, and modifications \\n Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external consultants/contractors\\n \\nRequired Qualifications and Experience \\n\\n Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) \\n Chartered Engineer (or working toward chartership, e.g. IET in the UK) \\n 5+ years' experience in electrical engineering within infrastructure, utilities, or industrial sectors \\n Proven experience in power distribution, protection, electrical design, and control & instrumentation \\n Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (IEC, BS, NEC, or region-specific) \\n Skilled in preparing drawings, schematics, and technical specifications \\n Proficient with design/analysis tools (ETAP, SKM, AutoCAD/Revit, Dialux, etc.) \\n Solid understanding of LV/MV electrical systems and utility interface requirements \\n Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including site-based fault resolution \\n\\n Full driving licence and access to a car (essential, due to site travel requirements)\\n \\nPreferred/Desirable Skills \\n Experience within the water / wastewater / process / utilities sectors \\n Knowledge of instrumentation, PLC, SCADA and automation systems \\n Experience of working on construction sites, commissioning, and start-up phases \\n Familiarity with project management practices and cost control \\n Experience with power quality, harmonic analysis, and energy efficiency studies \\n Experience of working with cross-disciplinary teams and leading electrical sub-teams \\n Experience with setting up protective relays, coordination, and testing procedures \\n\\nPlease apply now – in strictest confidence
