We have a fantastic opportunity to join a prestigious Telford manufacturer of high-quality soft furnishings as an Upholsterer. You will upholster office furniture to exacting company standards, delivering excellent finishes and durable repairs while working independently and as part of a busy team.
Responsibilities
- Upholstering soft office furnishings to company quality standards.
- Cutting, sewing and fixing fabric accurately and efficiently.
- Repairing seats and frames when required, ensuring structural integrity.
- Selecting and working with materials including fabric, foam, vinyl and leather.
- Maintaining high quality through careful inspection and finishing.
Qualifications
- Proven upholstery experience (2+ years)
- Practical knowledge of materials: fabric, foam, vinyl and leather.
- Skilled in cutting and sewing techniques relevant to upholstery.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes.
- Ability to work on own initiative and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Good hand skills and basic tool use for fixing and minor frame repairs.
Pay: £14.50 per hour rising to £15.50 per hour.
Hours: Monday–Thursday 07:30–16:15; Friday 07:30–13:15
