We are recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician/Mechanic to join an expanding company in Telford. The role offers a mix of workshop-based duties and mobile work, providing plenty of variety day to day.
Responsibilities
- Conducting thorough vehicle inspections
- Completing defect repairs
- Carrying out general servicing
- Responding to reactive maintenance needs
- Performing fault‑finding and diagnostic work
- Managing PMI schedules
- Preparing vehicles for MOT
- Presenting vehicles for MOT
- Updating and maintaining all required databases and records
Hours
Monday-Friday 8am-5:30pm
Weekend availability (alternate weekends)
Rate of pay
£17.50+ DOE
Requirements
Driving licence/HGV licence preferred, but not essential.
