We are recruiting for an experienced ongoing HGV Class 1 Driver to join a busy, well‑established haulage team. The role involves local Class 1 work, supporting day‑to‑day deliveries and helping keep the operation running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out Class 1 deliveries and collections across Shropshire and surrounding areas.
- Complete all work in line with transport legislation, company procedures, and customer requirements.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
- Ensure accurate completion of paperwork and use of Digi/CPC in line with regulations.
- Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with customers and colleagues.
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
- Up to date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- 25+ for insurance purposes.
- No more than 6 points (minor points accepted).
- Previous haulage or trunking experience preferred.
- Reliable, safety focused, and able to start work asap.
Hours & rate of pay
- Monday–Friday day shifts.

- Up to £17.00ph DOE.
