Financial Controller

Overview

We are currently recruiting for a temporary-to-permanent Financial Controller to join our client based in Telford.

In this role, you’ll take full responsibility for the finance function across three companies, covering payroll, VAT, credit control, and day‑to‑day accounting. You will also liaise with international suppliers, oversee import activity, and handle authorised payments, including wages and supplier invoices, through the company bank account.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in a finance role
• Strong customer service skills
• Good working knowledge of ERP systems
• Experience in payroll and VAT processes
• A self-motivated, proactive approach to work
• Excellent attention to detail

Hours

Monday-Friday – 38hrs per week. Will consider Part-time for the right candidate.

Pay

£14.50-£15.50+ DOE
