We’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our client’s team based in Runcorn.

Our client, based in Cheshire and part of the family‑run Group that was formed over 50 years ago, manufactures car parts to protective clothing. With in‑house tooling, rapid turnaround, and a team of experienced design engineers, delivering tailored, high‑quality products backed by decades of expertise and award‑winning service.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Pay

£12.33 per hour (until completion of first probation period where this will be reviewed)

Start Date

ASAP for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect new clients to grow the customer base.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients through excellent service and support.
  • Handle inbound and outbound sales calls and emails professionally.
  • Track and report on sales activity and client interactions.
  • Understand client needs and recommend suitable products or solutions.
  • Assist with scheduling follow-ups and managing client accounts.
  • Keep CRM systems and client records up to date.
  • Meet individual and team sales target.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence in prospecting and engaging new clients.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • A proactive and results‑driven mind‑set.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with CRM systems (preferred).
