Oracle DBA Contract length: 12 months

Location: Oxford (Hybrid, 1 day per week onsite) Up to £525 per day Inside IR35 We're recruiting for two Oracle DBA contractors to join a small, focused database team working on critical national digital infrastructure.

This is a hands-on, technical delivery role with real ownership, not a generalist "data platform" position.

The role: Administer, tune and secure Oracle database environments in production Manage backup, restore and disaster recovery processes Own indexing, performance tuning and monitoring Support a live legacy system migration Manage database access permissions What you need: Proven Oracle DBA experience in a production, enterprise environment Strong hands-on knowledge of indexing, performance tuning, backup/restore, monitoring and replication Experience through at least one database version migration Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment Nice to have, not required: Postgres, SQL Server, My SQL, or Terraform.

This is fundamentally an Oracle-first role, so we won't screen hard on these.
