An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Crewing & Travel Manager to join our growing operations team. This is a varied and rewarding position where you will coordinate the mobilisation of crew members working across a fleet of specialist work boats and vessels throughout the UK, Europe and Worldwide destinations.
If you enjoy organising people, solving problems and working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, this could be the perfect opportunity. You will build trusted relationships with crew members, acting as a key point of contact throughout their assignments. Providing day to day support, listen with empathy and help to resolve concerns where possible.
Experience within travel coordination, logistics, airline operations or administration would be highly desirable, however, attitude over industry experience will be considered. Training for the role will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within marine operations.
What You'll Be Doing
You’ll play a key role in ensuring our vessels are fully crewed and our personnel arrive safely and on time. Your responsibilities will include:
- Recruiting and coordinating crew members.
- Monitoring crew availability and identifying staffing gaps.
- Coordinating crew changes and vessel mobilisation.
- Liaising with recruitment agencies and external partners.
- Communicating daily with crew members, clients and operational teams.
- Responding quickly to changing operational priorities.
- Organising door to door domestic and international travel.
- Booking flights, accommodation and transport.
- Managing accurate travel compliance records for passports and visa documentation.
- Arranging PPE and on-boarding requirements.
- Updating information on our in-house crewing system.
