They are now looking for a proactive Graduate Civil Engineer to support the delivery of major water and wastewater non-infrastructure projects.

Role Overview

As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of cutting-edge solutions within the water industry. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, you will contribute to the design & construction of Water/Wastewater infrastructure & non-infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to the RES Business Management Systems (BMS) and CDM regulations. Key duties include:

  • Assisting in design, planning & implementation of water & wastewater projects.
  • Production of drawings & design calculations.
  • Collaborating with senior engineers to develop innovative solutions.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of our engineering processes.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • A keen interest in the UK water sector.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development with a willingness to work towards chartership with a relevant professional institution (ICE, CIWEM or IoW).
