Role: Bookkeeper, based fully on site

Duration: Initially 1 month temporary then reviewed

Start: Immediate

Hours: Monday to Friday 8-5pm

In this energetic role, you will manage accurate recording of financial transactions, ensure timely processing of accounts payable and receivable, and maintain the integrity of our accounting records. Duties

  • Record and reconcile daily financial transactions using accounting software such as Xero
  • Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring invoices are accurately processed and paid on time
  • Maintain organized records of financial documents, receipts, and statements for audit readiness
  • Assist with bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy across all accounts
  • Support month-end closing activities by preparing reports and verifying data integrity
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve financial procedures
  • Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue payments to optimize cash flow

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with accounting software, ideally Xero
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial recordkeeping
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles and accounting practices
  • Effective communication skills to clearly document and explain financial data
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced office environment is preferred
