Total Politics, the leading political and public sector media group, is seeking a proactive and experienced Marketing Manager to work directly with the Chief Marketing Officer to deliver impactful campaigns across our Political and Public Sector Engagement brands as well as for the Group as a whole. This role plays a key part in shaping and implementing marketing strategies for our diverse brand portfolio.

As Marketing Manager, you will craft and execute multi-channel campaigns that drive engagement, generate leads, support our events and grow our brand presence across political and public sector audiences. Collaborating with teams across Design, Media, Events and Sales, you'll ensure seamless delivery of impactful strategies in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work directly with the Chief Marketing Officer to develop and deliver integrated marketing strategies across Total Politics Group brands.
  • Create comprehensive digital marketing strategies to drive inbound leads, grow audiences and boost brand awareness.
  • Develop marketing campaigns for our Political and Public Sector Engagement brands, products and services, ensuring messaging resonates with decision-makers and drives engagement.
  • Manage website development and content including Total Politics and Total Events sites.
  • Event marketing support for both Sales and Events teams delivering inbound leads and delegate acquisition.
  • Support at our leading Party Conference fringe events.
  • Work alongside our Marketing Automation and Data managers to deliver data insights from our 360 SCV project.
  • Partner with the Design team to produce compelling marketing assets across print and digital channels.
  • Oversee campaign objectives, revenue targets, and KPIs across multiple brands, ensuring timely delivery and measurable results.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across teams.
  • Lead initiatives to streamline marketing processes and maximise efficiency in campaign execution.
  • Support Group-wide marketing initiatives and cross-brand promotional opportunities.
  • Develop and execute content marketing strategies that position our brands as thought leaders.
Skills & Experience Required
  • 7+ years of marketing experience, with proven track record in digital and content marketing.
  • Strong understanding of political and public sector markets.
  • Experience marketing to senior decision-makers.
  • Exceptional copywriting and communication skills with ability to adapt messaging for different audiences.
  • Experience with database management, CRM systems, and email marketing platforms.
  • Proven track record in planning and delivering successful multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Website management, SEO knowledge, and performance reporting expertise.
  • Ability to run targeted, segmented campaigns with demonstrable ROI results.
  • Experience in collateral design brief development and production management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, marketing automation tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with experience managing competing priorities.
  • Education to degree level (desirable).
