What You’ll Do:
- Deliver excellent face‑to‑face and telephone customer service.
- Assist customers with sales, enquiries and product advice.
- Process transactions accurately for both account and cash sales.
- Keep shelves replenished and stock well presented.
- Pick and prepare orders for collection or delivery.
- Help unload supplier vehicles and check goods received.
- Maintain high standards of health & safety and housekeeping.
- Assist with stock control, including regular stock takes.
- Support merchandising and store layout when required.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Good attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Previous experience in retail, builders’ merchants or a trade counter environment is an advantage—but not essential.
