Total Managed Document Solutions (TMDS) is a leading print management specialist based in Northamptonshire, supporting businesses nationwide. From small start-ups to large corporations and public sector organizations, TMDS provides customised print solutions, including printer and MFD leases, toner, consumables, and maintenance services. With a fast 4-hour call-out time, TMDS ensures reliable technical support for its clients. The company offers a wide range of products from renowned manufacturers such as Ricoh, Epson, Canon, and Kyocera to meet the diverse needs of customers.

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Printer Technician based from home, but no further than an hour from Northamptonshire. The Printer Technician will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for various printer and multifunction device models. Daily tasks include installing, configuring, and repairing printers and related hardware, ensuring optimal functionality, and delivering excellent service to all valued clients. The role involves collaboration with internal teams to meet clients' print management needs effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Printer Support and knowledge of various Printers and multifunction devices
  • Experience in Technical Support and Troubleshooting print-related and device-related issues
  • Familiarity with Desktop Computers and their integration with printing systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
  • Previous experience in the print management or technology sector is an advantage
  • Relevant technical certifications or training in printer and device repair are a plus
