V318 –Fire Alarm Engineer Location: Leeds Overview We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Fire Alarm Engineer to join our growing team in the Leeds area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional looking to expand their expertise in networked fire alarm systems. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, self-motivated, and committed to delivering high-quality service. In return, you will receive ongoing support through structured training and development opportunities. Key Responsibilities * Service and maintain Fire Alarm systems, including aspirating systems, beam detectors and networked systems. * Participate in training programs to enhance technical knowledge and maintain industry standards. * Support fire alarm commissioning activities when required. * Deliver a high standard of service and ensure client satisfaction is achieved before leaving site. * Accurately complete documentation, including timesheets, and job reports, using the Company’s service management system. * Provide exceptional customer service at all times. * Adhere to all relevant health and safety procedures and best practices. * Participate in the Company’s out of hours callout rota. Experience and Qualifications * Be able to demonstrate a good technical knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems. * Gent approved engineer status is desirable (training provided if not certified). * Minimum of 3 years’ experience in maintenance and repair of the relevant systems. * Full UK Driving Licence. Knowledge and Skills * Self-motivated, proactive, and a positive approach with a “can-do” attitude. * Ability to remain effective under pressure and meet deadlines. * Excellent verbal and written communications skills. * Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues. * Well organised with a disciplined and structured approach to work. * Commitment to continuous learning and personal development. Working hours: Monday – Friday, 8.00am – 5.00pm. Salary: £36,000 – £40,000 dependant on skills, experience, and qualifications.
