Do you like the idea of working at football and rugby grounds across the UK? If you’ve answered YES to the above questions, then this role could be perfect for you.
Hours: Full time - Monday-Friday. Minimum 40 hours.
Salary: £45-£50,000 per annum, depending on experience. (We would also consider self-employed contract basis terms, if you are looking to top up your existing income, perhaps you are already a self-employed fabricator or carpenter, looking for more work, with a view to moving to this full time)
Benefits for the full time position include:
- Fully expensed work van, fuel card.
- Accommodation paid, plus daily food allowance for overnight stays.
- Bonus Scheme for Achieving construction deadlines.
A typical month in this role could look like the following:
- Week 1&2: A 10 day job working in London on a new spectator stand install. Come home when finished and have a 3 day break.
- Week 3: Maintenance Jobs to existing structures around the UK (ideally home each day).
- Week 4: Monday - Surveying jobs at various locations and from home. Tuesday - Thursday at Head Office South Wales. Friday - surveying and arranging diary for jobs.
We have a very busy calendar of work and are currently booked-up 6 months in advance, this is a good thing, but also an opportunity to bring on a skilled Manager to help bring our lead time down to give sports clubs a quicker end product.
It is expected that the successful candidate is available for a fully paid trial week during April. Be on time, every time. Represent the company in a polite and professional manner. Wear the kit and PPE provided. High standards. Treat jobs & company property like they are your own. Enjoy hitting deadlines - we work hard together, and celebrate together.
