Job Description
Total Facilities recruitment are partnered with a leading facilities company. We are looking for a temporary mobile electrician to work on a retail contract in Norfolk.
- Temporary Long term sick cover
- 40 hours per week - overtime paid over 8 hours worked per day
- Van and fuel card provided
- Core Responsibilities
- Working as a Mobile Electrical Engineer covering the Norfolk area, delivering reactive repairs, maintenance tasks, and minor project works.
- Ensuring full compliance with safe systems of work, risk assessments, method statements, and all relevant health and safety documentation.
- Following client‑specific working processes and procedures.
- Maintaining accurate records of all completed works along with any follow‑up recommendations.
- Completing planned and reactive repairs in line with SLA requirements and deadlines.
- Demonstrating strong building services knowledge and the ability to carry out additional multi‑skilled tasks when required.
- Assisting with minor new works and small project installations.
- Providing proactive, customer‑focused communication and service delivery.
- Adhering to all FM procedures and systems and ensuring clear and legible record‑keeping.
- Working across domestic, industrial and commercial installations.
- Participating in an out‑of‑hours call‑out rota and working occasional overtime.

Essential
- Approved City & Guilds Electrician or Building Services equivalent qualification / Gold Card
- Qualified to 18th Edition IEE Regulations
- Strong organisational skills and a positive attitude
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a flexible approach
- Confidence using a PDA and CAFM systems for job management and email
