Temporary to Permanent role
We are recruiting for a Mobile Maintenance Electrician.
Mobile role covering Manchester and surrounding areas.
Salary: £39,000
- Company vehicle & fuel card provided
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
- On-call rota
- Covering Greater Manchester, Leeds and Runcorn (Leeds & Runcorn once every 2 weeks) depending on requirements
- Training and career development opportunities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance and identify potential issues
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Reactive maintenance
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults with minimal disruption to operations
- Install, maintain, and repair wiring, lighting, circuit breakers, and other electrical components
Requirements:
- City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent qualification)
- 17th or 18th Edition
- Proven experience in a similar maintenance electrician role within facilities management
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems
- Customer focused
- Previous experience with mechanical systems in commercial environments
- Confident in fault finding and resolving issues independently
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
