Temporary to Permanent role

We are recruiting for a Mobile Maintenance Electrician.

Mobile role covering Manchester and surrounding areas.

Salary: £39,000

  • Company vehicle & fuel card provided
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
  • On-call rota
  • Covering Greater Manchester, Leeds and Runcorn (Leeds & Runcorn once every 2 weeks) depending on requirements
  • Training and career development opportunities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance and identify potential issues
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Reactive maintenance
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults with minimal disruption to operations
  • Install, maintain, and repair wiring, lighting, circuit breakers, and other electrical components

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent qualification)
  • 17th or 18th Edition
  • Proven experience in a similar maintenance electrician role within facilities management
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems
  • Customer focused
  • Previous experience with mechanical systems in commercial environments
  • Confident in fault finding and resolving issues independently
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
