We are looking to recruit an experienced Mobile Maintenance Engineer to deliver planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial sites within the Sheffield and Manchester regions. This role suits a proactive, multiskilled engineer with experience in fabric and M&E maintenance, who is comfortable working independently in a mobile environment and committed to delivering high standards of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance across commercial properties
- Undertake a range of maintenance tasks including:
- Electrical: basic faultfinding, lighting, sockets, emergency lighting
- Mechanical: basic plumbing, pumps, valves, TMVs
- Fabric: doors, locks, tiling, patch plastering, painting, fixtures & fittings
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience in a Mobile Maintenance Engineer, Fabric Engineer, or Building Services Engineer role
- Strong multiskilled background within facilities management or commercial environments
- Good faultfinding and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work autonomously across multiple sites
- Professional and customer-focused approach
Qualifications & Requirements
- Relevant engineering qualification or time-served experience
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3, 18th Edition)
- FM or commercial building maintenance experience preferred
