Job Description

  • Site Supervisor
  • Near Soho - London

Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Reporting To

  • Contract Manager
  • Overview

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee the daily operation and maintenance of a prestigious commercial property.

This is a hands-on role responsible for managing building services, contractor activities, compliance, and client relationships while ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main on-site contact for the client, tenants and contractors.
  • Complete and oversee PPMs, reactive maintenance and building inspections.
  • Manage specialist contractors, including RAMS review, permits and quality control.
  • Ensure statutory compliance, including fire safety and water hygiene requirements.
  • Maintain accurate site records, logbooks and compliance documentation.
  • Escalate critical incidents and support operational reporting.
  • Assist with monthly reports, audits and energy management initiatives.
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards across plant rooms and service areas.
  • Supervise site activities and act as the first point of escalation when required.
  • Technical Knowledge

Experience working with

  • Building Management Systems (BMS)
  • HVAC plant, AHUs and FCUs
  • Electrical systems and switchgear
  • Generators and emergency lighting
  • Fire alarm and life safety systems
  • Domestic water services
  • Motors, drives and control systems

Essential Requirements

  • Previous Site Supervisor, Engineering Supervisor or Team Leader experience.
  • Strong building services maintenance background.
  • Experience managing contractors and compliance processes.
  • Good understanding of mechanical and electrical building systems.
  • Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Recognised Building Services apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
  • Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services qualification.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

Desirable

  • Experience within commercial property environments.
  • CAFM/BMS experience.
  • L8 Water Hygiene qualification.
  • C&G 2360 or equivalent.
