The Opportunity
We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management provider, working foot mobile across a portfolio of high-end commercial office buildings in Central London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys variety, autonomy, and daily interaction with clients. You’ll work within a supportive technical team, delivering both planned and reactive electrical maintenance while ensuring buildings remain safe, compliant and fully operational.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial electrical systems
- Fault finding, testing and remedial works across multiple sites
- Emergency lighting checks, lamp changes, power distribution, and small installation work
- AHU, FCU and basic HVAC/plant support (training provided)
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety, risk assessments, and site procedures
- Maintaining strong customer relationships with on-site tenants and building managers
- Completing job sheets, reports and documentation via handheld device
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds (or equivalent)
- Strong experience in commercial building maintenance
- Excellent fault-finding skills and a proactive approach
- Comfortable working foot mobile across multiple central London sites
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
- DBS check advantageous (or willingness to obtain)
