We are currently seeking a Working Fabric Supervisor to join the on-site maintenance team at a prestigious and high-profile commercial venue. This is a hands-on role where you will lead by example, overseeing fabric maintenance activities while remaining actively involved in carrying out works across the site. You will be responsible for ensuring high standards of building upkeep, coordinating workloads, supporting engineers and contractors, and maintaining a safe, compliant environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support a team of fabric technicians and contractors.
- Carry out planned and reactive fabric maintenance tasks.
- Undertake carpentry, painting, decorating, patch repairs, flooring, partitioning and general building fabric works.
- Allocate and monitor daily workloads to ensure service delivery targets are achieved.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify defects and required remedial works.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures.
- Liaise with clients, site management and subcontractors.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and update CAFM systems where required.
- Assist with minor project works, refurbishments and office fit-outs.
Requirements
Previous experience in a Fabric Supervisor, Fabric Engineer or Building role is essential.
