The Company: My client is one of the largest independent providers of property maintenance services in the UK, providing both Planned Preventative and Reactive Maintenance to thousands of clients across tens of thousands of locations around the UK. They provide Mechanical & Electrical, Fabric, Air conditioning and Combustion maintenance, and installations to commercial & retail environments. They are national specialists in planned and responsive maintenance and all of their services are based on 'self delivery', which means that they employ only the best, fully qualified in-house technicians and engineers to maintain quality standards.

Due to a sustained period of growth, we are recruiting for a qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work on a static commercial site in Glasgow. You will be required to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

Essential skills:

  • Experience in commercial installation and maintenance.
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Client facing.
  • Steady work history.
  • Open to dealing with other forms of work such as small installations.
  • Capable of working on own initiative and without supervision.
  • Able to adapt to quickly changing environments and client’s requirements.
  • Working under pressure.
  • Excellent organisational skills / Time management / Ability to prioritise and organise own workload / able to work to deadlines.
  • Good working knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements.

Essential Qualifications must be held:

  • NVQ or C&G Level 3 in Electrical Installation.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience:

  • Working in commercial or property maintenance.
  • Basic IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
