Catering Manager needed urgently in Bristol to join the team in this Corporate environment. Mon - Fri 7am - 3.30pm. Level 2 / 4 Food Hygiene required.
- Ensure delivery of services in line with contract requirements and company expectations.
- Ensure compliance with the catering Operational Manual and Client policy and procedures by all.
- Create a healthy, safe and secure environment for all, staff and visitors.
- Responsible for ensuring there are adequate staffing levels across all catering areas and in line with the contract specification and demand.
- Plan, allocate and evaluate work carried out by individuals, teams and self and provide and organise information for action.
- Ensure the department delivers and improves on service delivery targets and KPIs.
- Manage and develop both catering and retail teams to deliver exceptional service at all times.
- Ensure all catering staff are trained to the appropriate levels in line with the client and company requirements.
- Communicate in an engaging way, ensuring inspiring and motivating messages are conveyed across all teams.
- Effectively resource the teams in line with the business requirements and take a proactive approach through business forecasting.
- Manage performance management for the entire team.
- Use initiative to identify talented colleagues across the teams to ensure they are developed/supported through their career aspirations and building a pipeline of successors.
- Utilise the internal HR systems.
- Provide people support services and guidance to promote best practice and enable their people management accountabilities.
- Ensure that all payroll and absence management processes are effectively controlled to minimise disruption and impact on engagement levels.
- Fully responsible for purchases and stock controls and management of these through the onsite management.
- Develop processes to ensure all service provisions are captured and billed correctly.
- Ensure a comprehensive cost analysis is planned and deployed for all menus, ordering for catering and receipt/storage of all goods.
- Ensure the highest levels of customer standards are met always and address any service failures in a timely manner.
