We are seeking a hands-on Yard Supervisor to take ownership of the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of our client’s yard and site areas. This role suits someone proactive, organised, and comfortable leading by example.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee goods in and goods out, ensuring correct quantities, condition, and paperwork
  • Supervise safe unloading and loading in line with risk assessments and Safe Systems of Work
  • Investigate and report stock or picking discrepancies to the Manager
  • Ensure vehicles are loaded safely and are roadworthy before leaving site
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards across the yard, warehouse, and car parks
  • Uphold and monitor Health & Safety, including PPE, accident reporting, and signage
  • Support annual stock takes and assist with stock verification
  • Train, support, and provide cover for yard operatives when required
What We’re Looking For
  • Forklift licence - counterbalance (essential)
  • Full driving licence and reliable transport
  • Previous yard, warehouse, or supervisory experience (preferred)
  • Strong safety awareness and organisational skills
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable with physical, hands-on work and manual handling
