Our client based in East Wretham is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to cover for long term sickness. Working a 3 shift system, you will be required to:
- Take responsibility for the cleanliness and tidiness of the workshop, tools and replenishing consumables
- Carry out and record all daily, weekly and monthly PPM tasks in line with the schedules
- Guide and train operators to be self-sufficient in routine reactive maintenance tasks
- Review and continuously develop maintenance plans by determining the most effective strategies for each piece of equipment
- Fault find and repair breakdowns
- Provide suggestions for improvements to reduce downtime
- Build relationships with suppliers to ensure essential spares are readily available and longer lead time critical spares are stored securely and replaced as necessary
- Any other duties as required
This position is offered on a temporary basis, you will therefore need to be available to start work immediately.
