Overview
Our client is a well established manufacturer known for producing some of the best quality products on the market. They are looking for a reliable Delivery Driver to represent them on the road.
Responsibilities
- Be the face of the company at the customer's door, driving products safely and on time to addresses across the UK.
- Drive long distances to deliver goods on time and in full.
- Represent the company professionally at every customer interaction.
- Obtain delivery paperwork signatures and return them, along with fuel receipts, at the end of the shift.
- Call customers ahead of arrival and photograph completed deliveries.
- Follow all driving rules and regulations.
- Keep the vehicle clean, roadworthy, and checked daily.
- Report any vehicle defects promptly.
- Load the vehicle safely and within weight limits.
- Keep the office updated on any route or schedule changes.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence with a valid Category C entitlement.
- A valid digital tachograph card.
- An understanding of the working time directive for a 7.2 tonne vehicle.
- A professional, customer-focused approach.
Details
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Contract: Permanent
- Location: UK-wide deliveries; nights away from home will be required
- Salary: Salary increase in August (amount TBC)
