Overview

Our client is a well established manufacturer known for producing some of the best quality products on the market. They are looking for a reliable Delivery Driver to represent them on the road.

Responsibilities

  • Be the face of the company at the customer's door, driving products safely and on time to addresses across the UK.
  • Drive long distances to deliver goods on time and in full.
  • Represent the company professionally at every customer interaction.
  • Obtain delivery paperwork signatures and return them, along with fuel receipts, at the end of the shift.
  • Call customers ahead of arrival and photograph completed deliveries.
  • Follow all driving rules and regulations.
  • Keep the vehicle clean, roadworthy, and checked daily.
  • Report any vehicle defects promptly.
  • Load the vehicle safely and within weight limits.
  • Keep the office updated on any route or schedule changes.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence with a valid Category C entitlement.
  • A valid digital tachograph card.
  • An understanding of the working time directive for a 7.2 tonne vehicle.
  • A professional, customer-focused approach.

Details

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Location: UK-wide deliveries; nights away from home will be required
  • Salary: Salary increase in August (amount TBC)
