We’re supporting a busy groundworks and civil engineering contractor in appointing an experienced Document Controller to join their project office team. You must have a proven background working in a construction office environment, with strong capability using SharePoint or similar document management platforms.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update document control systems (SharePoint or similar).
- Manage incoming/outgoing drawings, revisions, and registers.
- Support site teams with document access and compliance requirements.
- Ensure accurate filing, naming conventions, and audit readiness.
- Liaise with engineers, site managers, QS teams, and subcontractors.
- General project office administration as required.
What You’ll Need
- Proven experience working in a construction project office.
- Strong document control skills using SharePoint, 4Projects, Asite, Viewpoint, or similar.
- Good understanding of drawings, revisions, and construction documentation.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced contractor environment.
