Shifts: Waking night shifts | 9 pm - 9 am | Shifts available across the week

What you’ll do:

  • Supporting an adult with Down syndrome and Autism in their home and supporting them in the community.
  • Assisting with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Housekeeping.
  • Stock management and ordering consumables.
  • Assisting with Physio.
  • Carefully and safely supporting access to planned community activities, managing sensory input, and promoting positive social interactions.

Our client loves listening to music, watching films, day trips, arts and crafts, gym visits, eating out, swimming, cooking, singing, painting nails, clothes and dressing up.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have some care experience, ideally supporting people with mental health challenges. We are looking for someone that can offer plenty of care, compassion and resilience as we provide full nurse-led training.
