An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a 2-bed, trauma-informed children's residential home, providing high-quality, individualised care in a structured and nurturing environment. This is a unique opportunity to manage a small, focused service, allowing you to prioritise stability, therapeutic care and meaningful outcomes for young children.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a children's residential home in line with NI regulations
- Ensure high standards of safeguarding and child-centred care
- Manage and develop a multidisciplinary staff team
- Maintain compliance with Children's Homes Regulations (NI) 2005 & Minimum Standards (2023)
- Oversee care planning, supervision, and reflective practice
- Manage rotas, budgets and regulatory reporting
- Lead inspections and continuous improvement
- Represent the home in LAC reviews and professional meetings
Essential Criteria
- Qualification in Social Work or relevant health & social care discipline
- Current NISCC registration
- Minimum 2 years management/leadership experience
- Experience within residential childcare or similar setting
- Full UK Driving Licence
