TotalCare Recruitment are delighted to be working with one of Ireland's leading Healthcare providers to appoint a new Home Manager.
The Role: You will be managing a modern, purpose-built care home supporting up to 66 residents which delivers high-quality residential, dementia, and nursing care for individuals aged 65+ within a safe, comfortable and community-focused environment. As Home Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations, clinical governance, and overall performance of the home. You will take leadership in driving high standards of care, regulatory compliance, and team performance, while ensuring residents receive safe, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care delivery
- Maintain full RQIA compliance and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Lead, develop, and support multidisciplinary teams
- Oversee staffing, training, and performance management
- Manage budgets to ensure financial sustainability
- Ensure all Nurses maintain a valid NMC registration
- Work closely with senior leadership and regional management
Criteria:
- Proven experience as a Home Manager (or Deputy stepping up)
- Strong knowledge of RQIA standards and regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
- Financial and operational management capability
- NMC registration desirable (for nurse-qualified candidates)
