An established and growing construction business is seeking an experienced Construction Contracts Manager to join its senior leadership team in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven construction professional to oversee the successful delivery of large-scale projects while leading and developing a high-performing construction team. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the end-to-end management of construction projects, ensuring quality standards, budgets, and programme deadlines are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the construction team to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and safely
- Develop and implement construction strategies to support successful project delivery
- Oversee multiple projects from pre-construction through to completion
- Ensure all construction activities are delivered within agreed budgets and timelines
- Manage relationships with subcontractors and third-party providers
- Monitor quality standards and ensure compliance across all sites
- Coordinate site-start programmes, delivery schedules, and operational targets
- Support and mentor team members across the construction function
- Report on project performance and progress to senior management
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in a senior construction management role
- At least 3 years experience in project management or site management
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and project delivery
- Proven ability to manage multiple teams and stakeholders
- Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Full UK driving licence required due to travel involved with the role
