About the Role: We are currently recruiting Full-Time Care Assistants to join our dedicated care team in a nursing home based in Ballynahinch for Days and Nights. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in residents' lives by providing high-quality care and support throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Support residents with mobility and ensure comfort and safety throughout the day.
  • Monitor and record residents' wellbeing, reporting any concerns to senior staff.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and caring environment.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a professional and compassionate team.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare or nursing home setting is desirable but not essential.
  • A caring, empathetic, and patient attitude.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work day shifts and remain alert and focused throughout.
  • Up-to-date training or willingness to complete training as required.
  • Access NI required for this role.
