Role Overview: As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving meals according to set menus, ensuring the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality. You will play a key role in maintaining the kitchens cleanliness and managing stock levels while ensuring that all health and safety standards are met. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook nutritious meals for patients, staff, and visitors in line with dietary requirements. Maintain stock levels and order provisions as required. Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned, sanitized, and maintained. Adhere to Food Safety and HACCP regulations. Supervise and train kitchen assistants in food preparation, portion control, and hygiene standards. Monitor and manage food wastage and quality. Respond to and resolve any food-related complaints or queries. What Were Looking For: Experience in a kitchen environment (preferably in a healthcare setting). Strong understanding of food safety regulations, including HACCP. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
