Job Summary:
We are seeking an organised and efficient Admin Support Officer to join the Catering Department at Daisy Hill Hospital in Newry. This role will provide day-to-day administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of catering services across the hospital, contributing to the delivery of high-quality food services to patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide general administrative and clerical support to the Catering Manager and team

Maintain and update staff rotas, timesheets, and absence records

Assist with ordering supplies and stock control documentation

Respond to telephone and email enquiries professionally and promptly

Prepare and distribute internal communications, schedules, and reports

Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers as needed

Maintain filing systems and handle data entry with a high level of accuracy

Support the catering team in complying with Trust policies, food hygiene, and health & safety regulations
Essential Criteria:

4 GCSEs (Grades AC) including English Language and Maths (or equivalent)

Minimum of 1 years administrative experience in a busy office environment

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
