As an Activity Therapist, you will play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents by planning and delivering meaningful activities and therapies tailored to individual needs. You will develop a varied program that considers residents' interests, mobility, cognitive abilities, as well as input from colleagues and families. Your role will involve designing and facilitating group and one-to-one activities that promote well-being and engagement. You will keep records of resident participation, seek feedback to refine activities, and provide a structured calendar of events to enhance daily experiences. Building strong relationships with residents, families and colleagues will be at the heart of your work, ensuring an inclusive and person-centred approach. Encouraging social interaction, creativity and physical activity, you will support holistic well-being in a compassionate and engaging way.
