Aged 22 or over (legal requirement). Hold a Full UK Manual Driving Licence. Able to commit to 173 hours per month, including sleep‑in shifts. Have no recent or relevant criminal convictions (enhanced DBS check required). Eligible to work in the UK.

We are seeking a caring and resilient Residential Support Worker to join our team, supporting children and young people aged 8–17 in a safe, nurturing children’s home environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience or transferable skills from youth work, education, social care, or residential childcare.

You Will

  • Build positive relationships and provide emotional and practical support to young people.
  • Help manage daily routines, including school runs, appointments, and activities.
  • Support with life skills such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow care plans.
  • Work a rotational shift pattern including sleep‑ins (additional allowance provided).

Candidate Requirements

  • Passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people.
  • Able to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
  • Good communicators and strong team players.
  • Reliable, empathetic, and committed to safeguarding.

Desirable

Experience in residential childcare, youth support, education, or social care is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
