To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Aged 22 or over (legal requirement)
  • Hold a Full UK Manual Driving Licence
  • Able to commit to 173 hours per month, including sleep‑in shifts
  • Have no recent or relevant criminal convictions (enhanced DBS check required)
  • Eligible to work in the UK

About the Role:

We are seeking a caring and resilient Residential Support Worker to join our team, supporting children and young people aged 8–17 in a safe, nurturing child’s home environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience or transferable skills from youth work, education, social care, or residential childcare.

You Will:

  • Build positive relationships and provide emotional and practical support to young people.
  • Help manage daily routines, including school runs, appointments, and activities.
  • Support with life skills such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow care plans.
  • Work a rotational shift pattern including sleep‑ins (additional allowance provided).

Candidate Requirements:

  • Reliable, empathetic, and committed to safeguarding.

Desirable: Experience in residential childcare, youth support, education, or social care is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
