The post holder will be responsible, through the ICT Security and Governance Team Leader, for the design, implementation, monitoring and compliance with ICT Security and Governance standards (e.g. Controls Assurance, ISO27001, NIS Directive), policies, processes, best practice (e.g. ITIL) and guidance. The post holder will ensure that the Trust's ICT Security, Governance and Continuity processes comply with all relevant legislation, standards and initiatives.
The post holder will provide specialist advice for the Trust in the areas of Security, Governance and Service Continuity, assist in investigating and reporting on Trust security incidents and breaches as appropriate. The post holder will act as deputy to the ICT Security & Governance Team Leader, assisting in ensuring a secure, well governed ICT service is delivered in accordance with Trust objectives and priorities. This will include managing and coordinating projects as appropriate within the areas of Security, Governance and Service Continuity.
The post holder will be expected to assist the ICT Security & Governance Team Leader with the development, review and maintenance of policies and procedures, as well as deliver training.
KEY RESULT AREAS / MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support ICT Security and Governance in related projects/initiatives, producing various pieces of work as required e.g. guidance, processes, training.
- Support the day-to-day management of requests for information in relation to ICT Security and Governance.
- Oversee a system for coordinating and monitoring the ICT Security and Governance metrics in response to requests for information, KPI’s in relation to Cyber Security, Audit actions ensuring that time-scales are met.
