Total Assist Recruitment are seeking a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join a community-based service supporting children and young people in mainstream and SEN school settings across Essex. The role involves delivering assessment and intervention programmes to support speech, language, communication, and interaction needs, working closely with families, schools, and multidisciplinary professionals. You will contribute to EHCP processes, provide advice and training to education staff, and support inclusive practice within educational environments.

This post is based within community and school settings, with schools available across Clacton and Colchester through to Tiptree and Witham, and down to Southend. The role offers varied caseloads and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children’s development and educational outcomes.

Requirements include:

  • HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist
  • Experience working with Paediatric caseloads in community and/or school settings
  • Experience supporting children in mainstream and SEN schools
  • Strong assessment, report writing, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework
