Speech & Language Therapist - Learning Disabilities & Autism in Grimsby

We are recruiting confidentially for a Speech and Language Therapist to join a complex care service based in Grimsby, Lincolnshire. The service supports individuals with a wide range of complex sensory, communication, and developmental needs, including some people with dysphagia where there is a significant risk of choking. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while continuing to develop specialist clinical skills.

In this position, you will lead group-based therapeutic sessions and deliver individual interventions to support the development of speech, language, communication, and safe swallowing. You will build strong one-to-one therapeutic relationships, encourage engagement, and empower individuals to achieve improved outcomes and greater independence. You will manage a designated caseload, completing specialist assessments, planning and implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes in line with individual care plans.

You will work as part of a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team and receive support from a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant and a Regional Lead Speech and Language Therapist.
