We are currently looking for a Speech and Language Therapist Band: 6.

Operational Hours:

  • Working days: Monday to Friday
  • Hours per day: 7.5 hours with half hour lunch break

Expected length of the assignment: 2 months, with high likelihood of extension for a further month (we are recruiting to the permanent position).

Start Date: 12th October.

Role: Split post between a 15 bedded Level 2 Neuro-rehabilitation unit (CNRU) for 3 days a week and the Hyperacute Stroke Unit for 2 days a week.

Skills required:

  • Able to independently manage a caseload of adult inpatients with acquired communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Experience of multidisciplinary neuro-rehabilitation and acute or stroke inpatient care.
