Total Assist Recruitment is currently seeking experienced and motivated Occupational Therapists to work across a range of exciting opportunities with our private healthcare clients throughout London, Greater London and Essex.
We are recruiting for a variety of mental health settings, including inpatient services, rehabilitation, specialist services and other therapeutic environments. Opportunities are available on both a full-time and part-time basis, with a range of short-term and ongoing locum contracts.
The Role
As a Mental Health Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in supporting service users to develop independence, improve their quality of life and work towards their individual recovery goals.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Carrying out occupational therapy assessments and developing individualised treatment plans
- Delivering one-to-one and group-based therapeutic interventions
- Supporting service users with daily living skills, independence and meaningful activity
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide person-centred care
- Contributing to care planning, discharge planning and risk management
- Completing accurate clinical documentation and reports
- Supporting service users throughout their recovery journey
- Managing a caseload in line with service requirements
