Roles/Responsibilities
- Proactively generate new business opportunities through cold calling and field-based sales activity.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to negotiation and closing.
- Develop and grow existing customer accounts, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services.
- Build strong, long-term client relationships across the hazardous and industrial waste sector.
- Work closely with internal technical and operations teams to ensure compliant, efficient service delivery.
- Gather and input accurate waste characterisation data to support pricing and logistics.
- Identify and secure Total Waste Management (TWM) opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records through CRM systems.
- Coordinate customer visits and ensure a high-quality customer journey throughout the sales process.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in hazardous waste or industrial services sales.
- Strong new business hunter mentality with the drive to win and develop accounts.
- Experience selling service-led solutions rather than product-only offerings.
- Confident in cold calling and face-to-face client engagement.
- Able to build lasting customer relationships and manage key accounts effectively.
- Highly self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working independently in a remote, field-based role.
- Full clean UK driving licence.
