We are working with a long-established and highly respected enterprise IT solutions provider, seeking to appoint a senior enterprise sales professional as part of a broader long-term commercial succession plan within the business. This is an opportunity to join a profitable, relationship-led organisation with deep roots across enterprise infrastructure, managed services, security and application support, particularly within UK insurance, financial services and other regulated environments.
The business has built an exceptionally loyal customer base, with many client relationships spanning well over a decade, and is looking for an experienced salesperson capable of both developing new enterprise opportunities and expanding existing strategic accounts over time. This role would suit an established infrastructure-focused salesperson with a strong network across enterprise IT environments, ideally within insurance or financial services, who is looking for greater autonomy, long-term influence and the opportunity to play a significant role in the future commercial leadership of the business.
The Role
- Developing and growing enterprise customer relationships across infrastructure, storage, managed services, security and broader IT solutions
- Managing the full sales lifecycle from relationship development through to commercial negotiation and account growth
- Building and maintaining senior stakeholder relationships across CIO, CISO and wider IT leadership communities
- Working closely with internal technical and delivery teams to support customer solutions
- Developing new business opportunities while also expanding existing accounts through cross-sell and long-term account development
- Contributing strategically to the future commercial direction of the business over time
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in enterprise IT infrastructure sales
- Strong background selling within environments such as IBM, Dell, HPE, Lenovo or similar enterprise infrastructure ecosystems
- Existing enterprise customer relationships and demonstrable ability to open doors independently
- Experience selling into insurance, financial services or other enterprise regulated sectors would be highly advantageous
- Strong commercial instincts and relationship management capability
- Comfortable operating autonomously in a high-trust, entrepreneurial environment
- Experience selling server, storage, datacentre, infrastructure, managed services or hybrid infrastructure solutions
- Strong track record of delivering meaningful gross margin and account growth
The Opportunity
- Join a stable, profitable and highly respected business with long-term customer relationships
- Genuine autonomy and flexibility
- Highly collaborative culture with strong technical support internally
- Opportunity to become part of the future commercial leadership structure of the organisation
