Roles/Responsibilities
- Win new business and open new contractor and engineering accounts across the Southern territory.
- Promote sheet piles, trench sheets, structural steel sections, and engineered steel solutions.
- Conduct site visits and technical discussions with contractors, engineers, and procurement teams.
- Develop long-term contractor and project relationships.
- Identify upcoming projects and influence early-stage specifications.
- Manage your own sales pipeline and execute a strategic territory growth plan.
- Establish yourself as the regional specialist for piling and shoring solutions.
- Report directly to the Managing Director while operating with significant autonomy.
Qualifications
- Proven B2B sales experience within one or more of the following sectors: Sheet piling, Groundworks, Shoring / trenching, Structural or heavy steel, Civil engineering materials, Foundation or infrastructure supply.
- Strong new business development and door-opening capability.
- Comfortable in a primarily field-based role with regional travel.
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Confident engaging with site managers, engineers, and buyers.
- Well-networked within the construction or civil engineering sector.
- Self-sufficient, proactive, and capable of building a territory without close supervision.
