Role Description
This is a freelance on-site role for a Fitness Coach / Trainer / Instructor local to the NW6 London area looking to fill their calendar. This is initially for a weekly 1 hour session to be held mid-week during off-peak morning/afternoon hours with the potential to coach other sessions in the area. Pay is via invoice at Β£30/session.
The Fitness Coach will be responsible for leading small group training sessions, providing fitness coaching with personality. You may be working with participants completely new to exercise as well as those who are well versed in exercise and must have great communication, motivational, and community building skills. The Fitness Coach will be responsible for programming the sessions as well as coaching the sessions. Sessions will be focussed on strength and conditioning in an outdoor environment primarily using gym machines.
Skills and Experience
- Passion for helping people improve their health and wellbeing
- Experience in actively delivering fun Group Exercise sessions especially in strength and conditioning
- Experience working with a wide range of participants and the ability to scale workouts
- Excellent knowledge of safe and effective exercises and use of gym machines
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisation skills
- Minimum of a level 2 fitness instruction qualification, valid liability insurance, and DBS checked
- Ideally located in or local to the NW6 London area
